Heat Diffusion

This simple Cell Matrix model represents the diffusion of heat as it spreads across a uniform surface. It has one submodel that defines the behavior of each individual tile. The initial values of each cell can be changed by clicking on individual tiles. This model is a great starting point for building models with cells that interact with one another. The term “MyNeighbors” frequently appears in cell matrix models and is very useful for building other models.

Running this model:
1. Click on the “Capture” button in the tool bar.
2. Click “Load” next to “Capture.”
3. Click “Exec” to run the model through multiple iterations. Click “Stop” to stop the graph.
4. To run the model step by step, click “Capture,” “Load,” “Init,” then “Step.”
