This is a moderately complex system dynamics model which performs a Monte Carlo integration over a quarter-disk ( º01 (1-x2)1/2 dx ) in order to compute the value of pi. It uses importance sampling to increase the rate of convergence. This model is interesting because it shows how to implement Monte Carlo simulations in Nova.

Running this model:
1. Click on the “Capture” button in the tool bar.
2. Click “Load” next to “Capture.”
3. Click “Exec” to run the model through multiple iterations. Click “Stop” to stop the graph.
4. To run the model step by step, click “Capture,” “Load,” “Init,” then “Step.”
